Employment and Immigration Law Issues for Nonprofits

May 31, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Are you up to date with core employment law rules that apply to your nonprofit? Employment law is such a complex and specialized field that it is always a good idea to stay attuned. Back by popular demand, Lawyers Clearinghouse is happy to present a seminar on most prevalent issues nonprofits face. Statutory protection such as charitable immunity may not apply to employee claims, and directors, officers and management staff may face personal liability in claims in this area. Come learn how to best protect your nonprofits and services. The panel will include a business immigration law expert to address the issues of hiring non-US citizens at these uncertain times.

PresentersDavid Wilson and Michael Birch, Hirsch Roberts Weinstein LLP; Keith Pabian, Partner, Pabian Law
