Succession Planning: What Your Nonprofit Should Be Considering for Leadership Change

An experienced 501(C)(3) nonprofit law attorney and a prominent author on succession planning will jointly present on what nonprofits should be doing to prepare for leadership change. What are the legal frameworks? What are the important legal and organizational considerations in anticipating and planning for leadership change? What options are available to ensure a smooth transition? Should there be an employee at will or an employment contract for the new leadership? What are the current trends to secure top talent? The two presenters will share their expertise in an interactive presentation.
