Richard Neumeier

Richard NeumeierRichard Neumeier is a partner in the Boston office of Morrison Mahoney, LLP. Dick concentrates in appellate litigation, professional liability (non-medical), and insurance coverage litigation.

Dick received his J.D. from Columbia University in 1971. He also holds an M.A. in Political Science and a B.A. from the University of Chicago. Since 1994, he has been a member of the American Law Institute and is an advisor to the ALI Principles of the Law of Liability Insurance Project. In July 2014, after 22 years (longer than any of his eight predecessors), he stepped down as the Editor of the Defense Counsel Journal, a quarterly publication of the International Associate of Defense Counsel and the oldest continuously published insurance law journal in North America.

As an Access to Justice Fellow, Dick will be working with the American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts on a variety of civil liberties issues.
